Waiting...Wishing...

On March 5th we close on the house... it seems so close, yet so far away! Until then, we wait ... we wish ... we wonder ...

Wow, it's been awhile!

I haven't had the drive to write, but there is so much going on and the months are flying by so I feel as though I need to blog about it. I want to remember everything that is happening because frankly I am so blessed with everything happening in my life right now.

Last thing you knew, Matt and I got engaged. And yes, after 6 months of extreme planning, the wedding is still on (hehe). We have been doing a lot, and I mean a lot, of planning. I think I'm too excited for it, and it also is extremely stressful. Our minds have been changing constantly. Long story short, first we wanted to have the reception in his yard, and then we were looking into other venues, and now we are back to the yard. But it is going to be absolutely stunning. The Antonell's have been prepping their house and yard for months now. Matt's dad, Cliff (or "Coach" as we like to call him), just made a white swinging gate with his father (Pappy) to add to the entrance of their long driveway. Matt's mom (Kim) has been frantically cleaning the house and preparing it for the wedding. They both have been saying that they've wanted to do so much redecorating/updating to their house and yard, but now they actually have an excuse to act on it. Hey, I'm totally fine with that! On another note, not only are they doing a lot to get the place looking nice, but Kim is being hilarious with looking good for the wedding, everytime we offer her cake or something sweet she exlaims "No, I can't! I have a wedding to get ready for!"

I'll give you (whoever "you" might be) more details on the wedding planning later. The bigger news, at least right now, is that Matt and I have 'unofficially' purchased a 2-family house! I cannot begin to tell you how exciting this is. My last Sunday was spent creating floor plans of what our new home will look like. The outside looks great. The inside...well...let's just say it needs a lot of work. But that is what we wanted. More on the story later: here is a picture of the outside:

We have not stopped thanking God for this beautiful addition to our life together!
